I made this for a couple of exhibitions and loved how it turned out.
Museums have an origami-like relationship with time because visitors can fold together different eras while navigating the galleries. Two exhibitions currently on view are perfect for this folding process. They cover three centuries and half the globe, but both contain works that were criticized in their time for not being art because they were printed.
